Edward Stautberg started working with PartnerCom and On Board Boot Camp as Managing Director in 2014. He has joined Susan Stautberg his mother, and founder of the companies bringing new energy, ideas, and strategies for growth. Edward is involved in all aspects of the business: building and implementing advisory boards: developing the board needs with clients, conducting advisory board candidate searches, scheduling the council meetings, facilitating the advisory board meetings, preparing the meeting notes and following up on recommendations.
Edward leads business & sales development: defining sales strategy, creating marketing materials, managing digital and social media platforms, developing and managing sales pipeline tools, developing new products and services, and managing client relations.
Previously, Edward worked with UBS in Stamford, CT accomplishing three years of increasing responsibility in Operations. Most recently he was part of the inaugural class of Cash and Trade Finance Fellows, where he honed his ability to perform highly detailed, forensic analysis of trades and transactions: recognizing, analyzing and responding to trends and patterns in large data-sets, including KYC (Know Your Customer) data, and other AML (Anti Money Laundering) issues. He served as the point of contact for internal and external clients from around the globe under high-pressure deadlines. He worked across silos with the IT department to institute a program of changes that reduced manual errors greatly.
Edward’s first role at UBS was at the Office of COO, was focused on analyzing government regulation, and it’s effects on a business, then helping to comply with it. Edward helped build a framework to create the Dodd Frank Act mandated U.S. Resolution Plan, by going through the entire bill to pull out every action item to render and group them as real deliverables. Next was writing a roadmap and timeline, budgeting, and reaching out to the relevant parties to get buy in from other teams. This experience taught him the intricacies of enacting plans and working cross functionally in a large and complex organization. He also analyzed the potential impacts to the bank of new rules stemming from the act, and creating briefings, presentations and thought leadership papers for senior management, including former Group CEO, Oswald Grübel.
Prior to UBS Edward worked in business development for several start-up companies in the renewable energy sector. His accomplishments include being Principal Investigator of a $1.4 million contract with the Department of Energy (DoE), where he managed the DoE as a client, as well as performing all necessary regulatory reporting, and analysis.
Edward’s undergraduate degree in Political Communications from the George Washington University, Masters degree in Energy and Earth Resources from the University of Texas at Austin, and experience driving regulatory, business development and operations projects in the startup world will all be of service in his new role.
